What Are Wrinkle Relaxers?
Neurotoxins, AKA Botox, are the most common non-invasive injectable compounds that target specific areas to relax muscle tension, smooth fine lines, and wrinkles. At ReeVa Medical Spa, we use botox for a variety of treatments, and it is one of several neurotoxin compounds, such as Xeomin® and Dysport® to relax and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Cosmetic treatments using neurotoxins typically last anywhere from 3 to 4 months.
Areas Treated With Wrinkle Relaxers
Forehead
Botox®, Xeomin®, and Dysport® treat wrinkles and lines on your forehead, by creating a more smooth, youthful and vibrant look. This treatment helps to achieve a more balanced and natural result. We often treat the forehead lines and frown lines together for best results.
Brow Lift
A brow lift is achieved by injecting a carefully selected amount of neurotoxin into the brow to lift the brows. This is a quick solution to help reduce the appearance of tired eyes. This treatment is designed to raise sagging eyebrows and reduce "eyelid hooding." This will help to give you a more youthful and "awake" look. This service is usually combined with our Upneeq (add a link to “Products”). Eye Opening liquid drops for enhanced results.
Frown lines
Frown lines are the little wrinkles between your eyebrows, typically called the "Il's",which are usually visible when frowning or scowling with the eyebrows. A quick treatment can help keep these wrinkles at bay, creating a smoother and more refreshed look.
Crow's Feet
The Crows feet are the little lines that are located on the outer corners of your eyes when smiling. Neurotoxins can smooth out these fine lines and keep your eyes looking open and brighter.
Jelly Eye Roll
When a small amount of neurotoxin is injected under the lash line, we can help you get a smoother, less puffy-looking result under the eyes. "Jelly eye rolls" are the rolls that appear under the eyes when you're laughing or smiling. These rolls can cause your eyes to look puffy and exhausted. With neurotoxin, the puffiness under your eyes will diminish and the lines will appear smoother.
Bunny Lines
Bunny lines are a nickname for the wrinkles you get when scrunching your nose like a bunny. Neurotoxin injections can help those wrinkles to fade. This treatment is a relatively quick service to have done.
Lip Lines / Lip Flip
Let us help you eliminate the wrinkles that are surrounding your smile with a quick treatment of Botox, Xeomin, or Dysport. This is done by injecting the neurotoxin into the lip line area to give lips a fuller and plumper appearance. This treatment is great for patients that have a disappearing top lip when they smile.
Gummy Smile
A "gummy" smile is a term often used to describe the look when the gums are too prominent. This can be corrected by targeting neurotoxin injections into specific injection points. This treatment technique is designed to relax specific muscles, which allows the lips to help cover the gums.
Masseter (TMJ) / Face slimming
Do you often find yourself grinding your teeth or clenching your jaw? Neurotoxin helps the masseter muscle to relax, which results in improved TMJ symptoms and facial slimming. This is one of the quickest ways to achieve that desired heart-shaped face or V Line appearance!
Dimpled Chin
Neurotoxin can treat a dimpled or "Orange Peel" appearance on the chin. Smoothing the skin of the chin will make it look relaxed.
Platysma (Vertical Neck Bands)
The platysma muscles are those vertical bands that run down your neck, more visible when clenching the jaw. The "Nefertiti Neck Lift," relaxes these strong muscles that pull the lower face down.
Microtox
Microtox is great for treating "crepey" skin of the under eyes and cheek. It helps to tighten your skin by relaxing the muscles underneath. This treatment places small doses of neurotoxin into the skin at precisely the right layer. The microtox will help relax and smooth skin to help reduce fine lines and crepey skin texture.
Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating)
If you suffer from excessive sweating, Botox has been approved by the FDS to reduce sweating under the arms, palms, and soles of the feet. Neurotoxins are injected near sweat glands to reduce their activity. This decreases perspiration but still allows the glands to function. The reduction in perspiration will last three to four months, at which time an additional treatment will be needed to maintain results.
Headache / Migraine Relief
Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are injected into specific areas of the face, neck, and scalp to help relieve muscular tension, resulting in a decrease in migraines and headaches.
Botox Facial
This facial uses a 24-carat gold microneedling device to infuse a customized blend of Botox, Fillers, Antioxidant, and Vitamins into the skin. The Botox helps to diminish pore appearance, oil production, reduce wrinkles, and decrease the appearance of fine lines.
The hyaluronic acid filler helps to add hydration and plump to the skin. Antioxidants and Vitamins help with improving discoloration and pigmentation while providing a nice even tone and texture to the skin.
